Zusammenfassung
Bericht über eine Ebola-Hilfsaktion in Liberia vom 17.10. bis 07.11.2014. Dem Aufruf der LMHI und des DZVhÄ zu internationaler Hilfe folgend, reiste ein Team homöopathischer Ärzte nach Liberia, um im Norden des Landes ärztliche und homöopathische Hilfe zu leisten. Der letzte infizierte Patient war kurz zuvor verstorben. Wenig später erteilten die liberianischen Gesundheitsbehörden das Verbot, an Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) Erkrankte zu behandeln. Das Team widmete seinen Dienst daraufhin den Kranken im normalen Stationsbetrieb und in der Krankenhausambulanz. Der Einsatz fand große Resonanz bei der Bevölkerung und unter dem medizinischen Personal.
Summary
Report on an Ebola relief operation in Liberia in autumn, 2014. Following the call of the LMHI and DZVhÄ for international help, a team of homeopathic doctors went to Liberia to provide medical and homeopathic assistance in the north of the country. The last infected patient had died shortly before. Only a short time later the Liberian health authorities gave the ban to treat patients suffering from Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). The team then dedicated his service to the sick people in the normal hospital mode and in its outpatient clinic. The action found big resonance by the population and the medical staff.
