Das Vulvakarzinom gehört mit einer Inzidenz von etwa 5 / 100 000 zu den selteneren gynäkologischen Tumorentitäten. Im Vergleich hierzu treten das Endometriumkarzinom (17,7 / 100 000) und Ovarialkarzinom (12,1 / 100 000) deutlich häufiger auf [1].
