Eine klinische Pathophysiologie des Remodelings liegt vor. Mit ihrer Kenntnis wurden shuntspezifische Strategien und Operationstechniken entwickelt, die den Erhalt einer maturierten Shuntvene oft über viele Jahre ermöglichen können, von denen hier 9 für die autologe Shuntrevision essenziell wichtige als zusammenhängend dargestellt werden.
A clinical pathophysiology of the remodeling of the shunt vein exists. According to this knowledge, specific strategies and autologous surgical techniques of the shunt surgery were created which can maintain the function of a failing matured shunt vein for years; 9 of them, important for autologous shunt revision, are described.
