Geschichte der Thorakoskopie

Die Geschichte der Thorakoskopie zeigt beispielhaft den Wandel von der Zeit der Phthisiologie, welche die Thorakoskopie vorwiegend als therapeutisches Verfahren in der Pneumothoraxbehandlung der Tuberkulose einsetzte, zur modernen Pneumologie und Thoraxchirurgie. Gleichzeitig wird in der geschichtlichen Analyse der Einfluss der deutschen Medizin auf die Entwicklung der Thorakoskopie deutlich.
