We report a pregnant woman with Pena Shokeir Syndrome who gave birth to a normal baby through an uneventful elective cesarean section with an uncomplicated spinal anesthesia. A 33-year pregnant woman with a known Pena Shokeir syndrome presented in the 23+5 week of gestation for prepartal care. The patient has contractures of all her major joints, involving both the upper and lower extremities. Additionally, she has microcephaly, micrognathia, ocular hypertelorism, depressed nasal tip. The past surgical history included 7 surgeries in the lower extremities. We report the first 33-year-old Patient with Pena Shokeir syndrome who underwent a cesarian delivery of a normal newborn. Early consultation of the anesthesia and neonatology during the antepartum period aided in developing an appropriate clinical plan for the patient.
