Zusammenfassung

Die Dysfunktionen, unter denen Menschen nach einem Beschleunigungstrauma leiden, ähneln denen von Patienten mit Nackenschmerzen. Störungen der Propriozeption, Kraft, Ausdauer oder des Gleichgewichts und Bewegungsausmaßes sind optimale Angriffspunkte für eine physiotherapeutische Behandlung. Ein sensomotorisches Training verbessert nicht nur die Beweglichkeit, Koordination oder Kraft, sondern reduziert auch die Schmerzintensität der Patienten.
