Wenn man von Faszientherapie spricht, denken viele an schmerzhafte manuelle Techniken. Doch zur erfolgreichen Behandlung des kollagenen Bindegewebes gehört für den Sportphysiotherapeuten noch weit mehr: Neben dem Grundwissen zum nozizeptiven Potenzial der Faszie und ihrer mechanischen Relevanz ist die evidenzbasierte Verwendung von Hartschaumrollen-, Stretching- und Kräftigungsübungen von entscheidender Bedeutung für den Therapieerfolg.
