Eine fotografische Dokumentation der Vakuummarke am kindlichen Kopf macht die korrekte
Platzierung der Vakuumglocke reproduzierbar und hilft insbesondere bei der Senkung
der maternalen Morbidität infolge einer Vakuumentbindung.
Abstract
The correct placement of the vacuum cup is essential to reduce both maternal and neonatal
morbidity after a vacuum-assisted vaginal delivery. Therefore, a checklist based report
with all relevant clinical findings and a photo of the infant’s head with the location
of vacuum tag was introduced to make the exact application of the cup reproducible
for. training/instruction purpose.
