LAPAROSCOPICAL RADICAL CYSTECTOMY WITH BRICKER EXTRACORPOREAL RECONSTRUCTION IN A BLADDER NEOPLASIA PATIENT
Introduction: Bladder cancer is among the most common, with high morbidity and mortality. The treatment of this pathology includes radical cystectomy, which can be performed laparoscopically, with lower patient morbidity. Objective: To present the step by step of the surgical technique adopted in laparoscopic radical cystectomy with extracorporeal bricker reconstruction in a patient with bladder neoplasia. Methods: The procedure was performed in a male patient in 2019, diagnosed with muscle-invasive transitional cell carcinoma. Results: The surgical time was 250 minutes, with estimated bleeding of 250ml. The patient was discharged on the seventh postoperative day with ureteral splits. The anatomopathological report showed muscle invasive transitional cell carcinoma. The ureteral splits were removed 14 days after surgery. Conclusion: Laparoscopic radical cystectomy with extracorporeal bricker reconstruction is a safe, reproducible technique with superior results compared to the conventional approach.
