This is a case of a vestibular schwannoma T4a.

First, exposure and tumor debulking. We continue opening the canal. Many opt to locate the nerves after the whole debulking, aiming for a gradual removal to expose the VII and VIII cranial nerves. However, we show the technical superiority of chasing in the beginning and preserving the arachnoid planes that separate the tumor from the nerves. Surgery behaves in an “extra-cisternal” manner, preserving function.
