Perforation of Sigmoid Colon Cancer during Pregnancy

Zusammenfassung

In der Schwangerschaft auftretende Dickdarmkarzinome sind selten. Folgend wird über eine 24-jährige Patientin in der 28. SSW berichtet, bei der ein perforiertes Sigmakarzinom diagnostiziert wurde. Klinische Symptome, histologische Charakteristika und Behandlung dieses Tumors werden beschrieben und diskutiert. Es werden auch die diagnostischen Schwierigkeiten in der Schwangerschaft erörtert.

Abstract

Colon cancer during pregnancy is rare. We report about a case of perforated sigmoid colon cancer in a 24-year-old woman in the 28th week of gestation. The clinical symptoms, histological characteristics and therapy options for this tumour are presented and discussed. The diagnostic features in pregnancy are reviewed.
