Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über unterschiedliche kieferorthopädische Behandlungsstrategien bei erwachsenen Patienten mit Nichtanlage oberer seitlicher Schneidezähne. Es wird ausgeführt, dass bei Erwachsenen mit abgeschlossenem Wachstum eher Einzelzahnimplantate indiziert sind und im Rahmen eines Fallbeispiel wird eine Behandlungsmechanik für den frontalen Lückenschluss vorgestellt.

Abstract

This paper reviews the orthodontic treatment possibilities for managing agenesis of upper lateral incisors in adolescents. It comments that endosseous implants may be more suitable for adult patients, where all growth has been completed, and it reviews a treated case, showing treatment mechanics for anterior space closure
