The oculo-vestibulo-cervico function model in the osteopathic practice
The article introduces a possible problem complex consisting of mainly chronic symptoms
in the cranio-cervical area, in which the oculo-vestibulo-cervico function model comes
into use and plays a key part. Details from the area of neuroanatomy help the reader
to understand specific individual functions according to the holistic concepts of
diagnosis and therapy in traditional osteopathy.

Le modèle fonctionnel cervical oculo-vestibulaire dans la pratique ostéopathique
L’article montre une problématique complexe possible de la partie crânio-cervicale
dans l’évolution des douleurs principalement chroniques qui incluent le modèle fonctionnel
cervical oculo-vestibulaire lui attribuant une position clef. Des détails provenant
de la neuroanatomie aident à comprendre chaque fonction spécifique d’après le concept
thérapeutique et diagnostique de l’ensemble de l’ostéopathie traditionnelle.
