The participants attended the Euroson Ultrasonography of Digestive Tumours Course
in the Univers-T Hall in Cluj Napoca, Romania, a conference hall for 350. The audio
visual services were provided by The Ultrasound Centre of The University of Medicine
and Pharmacy Cluj Napoca - 5 videoprojectors and 4 PC-laptops.
The syllabus of the Euroson Vascular Ultrasonography Course was produced one month
earlier and was offered free to all the participants. They also had a special congress-bag
with promotional and writing materials. The course organisation was assured through
contract with SC Congress Systems SRL, a company specialised in activities as, registration
and accomodation, travel and catering.
The observer from EFSUMB was Prof. Greiner. The target level of education was advanced,
presentations being fully illustrated by images.
At the end of all lectures the participants attended workshops (interactive and instructive)
dedicated to practice applications. A written test was given to the participants at
the end of the course. All the participants passed the test (their scores were > 80%),
and were awarded with a certificate of achievement.
