Tourniquet-Syndrom - Fallbericht

Zusammenfassung

Das hier dargestellte Tourniquet-Syndrom beschreibt die Einschnürung eines Glieds durch Fasern oder Haare, die zum Gewebsuntergang führen können. Das klinische Resultat des beschriebenen Falls und die Durchsicht der Literatur zeigen, dass die schnelle Diagnosestellung und Einleitung einer Therapie notwendig sind.

Abstract

Tourniquet syndrome involves fibres of hair or thread wrapped around an appendage producing tissue necrosis. The result in this case and a review of the literature show that prompt recognition and aggressive treatment are necessary.
