Mögliche Störungen von Herzschrittmachern und implantierten Defibrillatoren

Einleitung

Trotz korrekter Sonden- und Gerätefunktion und prinzipiell adäquater Programmierung kann die korrekte Funktion von implantierten Herzschrittmachern und Defibrillatoren gestört werden. Diese Störung kann entweder durch intrakardiale Signale und deren Fehlinterpretation durch das Aggregat oder durch extrakardiale Signale hervorgerufen werden. Die Signale können dabei von physiologischer oder technischer Natur sein. Im folgenden Artikel sollen die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten der Beeinflussung von implantierten Pulsgeneratoren, deren klinische Bedeutung und mögliche Strategien zur Lösung der damit verbundenen Probleme dargestellt werden.
