Das dargestellte totalprothetische Konzept zeigt die Kombination der anatomischen
Abformung mit einer provisorischen Kieferrelationsbestimmung. Dadurch wird die Voraussetzung
für die spätere Kombination der Funktionsabformung mit der definitiven Relationsbestimmung
geschaffen. Es werden die Anwendung von speziellen Abformlöffeln in Kombination mit
aufeinander abgestimmten Abformmassen und der Einsatz eines Trägers für die provisorische
Relationsbestimmung dargestellt.
The presented concept for the preparation of complete dentures shows the combination
of initial impression and the provisional bite registration in one appointment. Thereby,
the precondition for the combination of later functional impression with the definitive
registration of the jaw relation is given. The use of special impression trays in
combination with aligned impression materials is demonstrated. Also the appliance
of a fixation aid for provisional bite registration is demonstrated.
