Abstract

Many women experience musculoskeletal complaints during their pregnancy. This systematic review investigates the possible effect of stabilising exercises in patients with lumbar-pelvic pain and the indication of physiotherapy in these cases.

Although the number of studies dealing with this subject is still limited, physiotherapy and especially stabilising exercises seem to have a positive effect on lumbar-pelvic pain.
