Introduction

Traumatic aneurysms of the brachiocephalic artery are relatively rare. Aneurysms in this location can cause respiratory symptoms including dyspnea, cough and hypoxia. In rare cases, the aneurysm may even be asymptomatic for many years [[1]]. We present a case of traumatic aneurysm of the brachiocephalic artery caused by a traffic accident and resulting in recurrent episodes of pneumonia, productive cough with purulent sputum, dyspnea and occasional hemoptysis.
