Skin cancers are increasing as the population ages. Basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas
are the most commonly occurring lesions. The frozen section techniques and Mohs' techniques
are considered to be the gold standard of treatment of periocular carcinomas. Strategies
for treatment of these lesions as well as reconstruction of full-thickness eyelid
defects and partial-thickness skin defects are discussed.
