Beinwell in der Therapie stumpfer Traumen: Anwendung bei Kindern

Zusammenfassung

In einer Anwendungsbeobachtung wurde die Verträglichkeit und Wirksamkeit einer Salbe mit Beinwellwurzel-Fluidextrakt bei 306 Kindern von 3-12 Jahren untersucht. Alle bewerteten klinischen Symptome verbesserten sich im Verlauf der Therapie deutlich. Das untersuchte Arzneimittel ist in der topischen Anwendung auch bei Kindern ab 3 Jahren als wirksam und sicher zu betrachten.

Summary

Comfrey extract for treating blunt injuries in children

In a post-marketing surveillance study the tolerability and efficacy of an ointment containing a fluid extract of comfrey root were investigated in 306 children aged 3 to 12 years. All assessed clinical symptoms improved considerably during the treatment. The topical application of the investigated medicinal product is therefore considered to be effective and safe also for children.
