Was einst als akute Ausnahme galt, ist heute zur chronischen Herausforderung geworden: Hufrehe betrifft inzwischen jedes fünfte Pony – meist infolge eines gestörten Insulinstoffwechsels. Dieser Fachartikel beleuchtet kritisch die Ursachen des Anstiegs, entlarvt therapeutische Irrwege und zeigt, warum ganzheitliches Denken und individuelles Management heute wichtiger denn je sind.
