Abstract

Nearly one third of the German population over the age of 16 suffers from the symptoms of exhaustion. Whereas today’s eating habits often lead to a reduced supply of certain micronutrients, stress, extreme strain or diseases increase the need for micronutrients. The integrative treatment of patients suffering from adrenal fatigue with a micronutrient therapy produced good results, but an individual approach and diagnosis are mandatory. A therapeutically dosed supply far above the officially recommended supply is often necessary during the treatment.
