Kindernotfälle sind im Rettungsdienst eine seltene und oft gefürchtete Einsatzindikation, denn sie stellen für die Helfer eine hohe kognitive und emotionale Belastung dar. Dieser Beitrag soll einen Überblick über die häufigsten Kindernotfälle sowie praxisorientierte Behandlungstipps geben.
