Alberto Larghi et al. Forward-viewing echoendoscope versus standard echoendoscope for endoscopic ultrasound-guided tissue acquisition of solid lesions: a randomized, multicenter study

Randomized, parallel-group study comparing echoendoscopes for tissue acquisition. In 126 patients with solid lesions (mostly pancreatic masses) the new forward-viewing echoendoscope was not inferior to standard echoendoscopes in terms of lesion detection and diagnostic accuracy of tissue samples.
