Zusammenfassung

Vaskulitiden sind seltene Erkrankungen mit potentiell lebensbedrohlichem Verlauf. Im Gegensatz zu anderen rheumatischen Erkrankungen konnte in den letzten 10 Jahren bei den Vaskulitiden zwar die Mortalität gesenkt werden, nicht jedoch die Zahl der Erwerbsminderungssrenten und der Arbeitsunfähigkeitstage.

Dieser Artikel gibt dem klinisch tätigen Rheumatologen einen Überblick über die Rehabilitation und sozialmedizinische Begutachtung von Patienten mit Vaskulitis. Die Begründung der sozialmedizinischen Einschätzung erfolgt anhand der Internationalen Klassifikation der Funktionsstörungen (ICF). Während einer Rehabilitation auf Kosten der Deutschen Rentenversicherung erfolgt immer eine umfassende sozialmedizinische Begutachtung.

Abstract

Vasculitis are rare diseases with a potentially life-threating course. In contrast to other rheumatic diseases, the mortality rate of vasculitis has decreased in the last 10 years, but has had no effect on the number of early unemployability pensions and work incapacity days.

This article gives the clinically practising rheumatologist an overview of the rehabilitation and the socio-medical assessment of patients with osteoporosis. The justification behind the socio-medical evaluation is based on the International Classification of Functional Disorders (ICF).

A comprehensive socio-medical assessment has to be performed in all patients that receive an inpatient rehabilitation at the expense of the German pension insurance.
