Um Veränderungen in den kommunikativen Fähigkeiten abzubilden, sind Einschätzungen aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven (vom Fachpersonal, von Betroffenen und von Angehörigen) erforderlich. Anhand eines Fallbeispiels werden im vorliegenden Beitrag drei zentrale Argumente für den Einsatz von Rating-Verfahren (BEKOS und LCQ) bei kognitiven Kommunikationsstörungen herausgearbeitet.

Abstract

For measuring altered communication skills it is necessary to collect information from various sources (professionals, self-perception and close others). On a single case we will outline three strong arguments for the use of rating procedures: We will show that the two measuring instruments in our study, the BEKOS and the LCQ, complement each other in assessing communicative impairments and they also can help reveal possible resources of impaired communication and finally, the two measuring instruments are useful to establish individual treatment goals.
