Die einmalige Applikation von Semaglutid pro Woche verringert Adipositas unabhängig von einem Typ-2-Diabetes

Übergewicht und Adipositas sind eine globale gesundheitliche Herausforderung unserer modernen Welt mit wenigen pharmazeutischen Therapieoptionen. In einer klinischen Phase-III-Studie (STEP 1, NCT03548935) wurde untersucht, ob adipöse Erwachsene mit einer einmaligen wöchentlichen subkutanen Semaglutid-Dosis von 2,4 mg ergänzend zu einer Lebensstilintervention einen Gewichtsverlust erreichen können.
