Advanced diagnostic endoscopy for colorectal tumors: Challenges that need to be solved in the years to come

10.1055/a-1533-6183The purpose of this editorial is not to detail all the technical aspects of advanced diagnostic endoscopy for colorectal tumors but to focus on some of the issues raised by diagnostic endoscopy, with which impressive progress has been made in recent years, at least regarding its use for therapeutic colonoscopy.
