Louis-Jean Masgnaux et al. Endoscopic submucosal dissection assisted by adaptive traction: results of the first 54 procedures

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a challenging procedure, but traction devices may improve access and aid completion. A disadvantage of existing traction devices is that they cannot be adjusted during the procedure. This retrospective case series reports on a novel adaptable traction device, which was found to be safe and effective in the colorectum, but can also be used to assist procedures in the upper gastrointestinal tract.
