Julia Hanevelt et al. Trends over time and interhospital variation in the primary treatment approach for T1 colon carcinomas in the Netherlands

Changes in the treatment of T1 colon cancer over time in The Netherlands was investigated in this nationwide retrospective cohort study. Between 2015 and 2022, 9650 „patients were treated in 73 hospitals. An increasing number of minimally invasive local procedures was observed, without affecting the relative and overall survival, and regardless of the hospitals’ attitudes to local resection.
