Summary
Preliminary report on the first endoscopic laser coagulations in the human gastrointestinal
tract. The successful light coagulations were carried out on non-bleeding colonic
haemangiomas and on a bleeding gastric ulcer. For the first time, a plastic light-guide
that could be passed through the instrument channel of an endoscope, served as transmission
system.
Zusammenfassung
Vorläufiger Bericht über die ersten endoskopischen Laserkoagulationen im Gastrointestinaltrakt
des Menschen. Die erfolgreichen Lichtkoagulationen wurden an nicht blutenden Kolonhämangiomen
sowie einem blutenden Ulcus ventriculi durchgeführt. Als Lichtleiter diente erstmals
eine durch den Instrumentierkanal eines Endoskopes einführbare Kunststoffaser.
