Extravasatbildung nach Fornixrupturen bei der Infusionsurographie
Extravasation from fornix rupture during infusion urographyPublication History
Publication Date:
08 August 2009 (online)
Summary
After the introduction of infusion urography, ten cases of fornix rupture were observed during three years. In seven of these cases, a ureteric stone could be demonstrated. It is recommended that a simple excretion urography should be performed when there is suspicion of a ureteric stone; infusion urography, which uses three times the amount of contrast medium, increases diuresis, and therefore intra-pelvic pressure at any given time much more rapidly and much more severely than conventional urography.
