Die shunterhaltende Therapie des Stealsyndroms beim Normo-Flow-Shunt ist die Proximalisierung
des arteriellen Lecks ohne Erhöhung des Shuntflusses. PAI und DRIL benutzen für die
Proximalisierung einen freien autologen/alloplastischen Bypass. Bei einer geeigneten
Anatomie mit einem kräftigen Stamm der Vena brachialis kann dieser alternativ erfolgreich
als drainierender „In-situ-Bypass“ zur Proximalisierung eingesetzt werden.
The shunt-saving therapy of a normo-flow-shunt with steal syndrome is the proximalization
of the arterial leak without increase of shunt flow. PAI and DRIL therefore use a
free autologous/alloplastic bypass. In case of a suitable anatomy with a thick trunk
of the brachial vein, it can be used successfully as a draining „in situ bypass“ for
proximalization.
