Zusammenfassung

Laxanzien wie PEG und Na-Phosph. verbessern die Sicht bei der Kapselendoskopie. PEG wirkt dosisabhängig: 2 l > 1 l. Eine Trinkpause nach der Lavage vor Kapseleinnahme von 1,5 h wird empfohlen. Prepacol und Sennae sind nicht effektiv. Prokinetika wie Erythromycin und MCP verkürzen die Transitzeit nicht. Simethicon (80 – 600 mg) verbessert die Sicht. Eine Kombination mit PEG ist sinnvoll. Cave: bei Risikopatienten wie Diabetikern ist Bewegung wichtig, z. B. Umhergehen. Die Kolonkapsel erfordert eine intensive Darmreinigung. Mit den publizierten 2- oder 1-Tagesprotokollen kann eine gute Reinigung in > 80 % der Patienten erreicht werden.

Abstract

Laxatives such as PEG and sodiumphosphate improve sight of capsule endoscopy. Effect of PEG is dose-dependent (2 l > 1 l). PEG should be stopped 1.5 h before ingestation of capsule. Prepacol and Senna are not effective. Prepacole and erythromycin have no effect on transit time. Simethicon (80 – 600 mg) improves visibility and should be combined with PEG. Cave: risk factor such as diabetes. Patients should walk. Colon capsule requires intensive bowel cleaning. Using 2 or 1 day regiments good results can be obtained in > 80 % of the patients.
