Sehnenverletzungen stellen in der Unfallchirurgie und Orthopädie eine häufige Ursache von Schmerzen und Funktionseinschränkungen dar. Dieser Artikel soll einen Überblick über die Anatomie, den Mechanismus der Schädigung, die Reparaturmechanismen, die Phasen der Heilung von Sehnen und die Grundlagen der Therapie geben.
