Zusammenfassung

Vorliegender Fallbericht einer 46-jährigen Pa­tientin mit einer Fehlstellung der Zähne, in Verbindung mit einem schweren PA- Befund. Die über 15 Jahre dokumentierte Stabilität des Behandlungsergebnisses soll die Notwendigkeit und Möglichkeit der interdisziplinären Kooperation von Parodontologen und Kieferorthopäden unterstreichen.

Die PA-Behandlung ermöglicht die kieferorthopädische Therapie und die kieferorthopädische Behandlung verbessert die parodontalen Bedingungen [1].

Abstract

This case report presents a 46-year-old female with severe malocclusion and generalized aggressive periodontitis. Stability of the treatment result over 15 years reflects the importance of an interdisciplinary treatment approach between orthodontist and periodontist. Periodontal treatment made an orthodontic intervention possible and orthodontic treatment improved periodontal conditions [1].
