Abstract
Laboratory medicine is an important branch of medicine dealing with the use of laboratory investigation. In tropical medicine, the principles of laboratory medicine are important knowledge for tropical physicians. Laboratory medicine is critical for the investigation of tropical diseases. In this article, the author will briefly summarize and discuss the current situation of laboratory medicine in the tropical world.
