Abstract
Biliary leaks and bilomas develop due to hepatobiliary surgery, trauma, or locoregional
therapy for hepatic malignancies. Though uncommon, they can be a source of abdominal
pain, hyperbilirubinemia, and sepsis. A variety of diagnostic tools and interventional
techniques are available to diagnose and manage biliary leaks and bilomas. Successful
management often requires a multidisciplinary approach between the radiologist, surgeon,
and endoscopist.
