Summary

Juvenile idiopathic arthritis is said to be a good treatable disease. However, a good part of JIA patients suffer from residual damage, ongoing disease activity and further problems in different parts of life, during adulthood. In this article, we show an overview of the knowledge concerning longtime outcome and prognosis of JIA.
