Zusammenfassung

Psychosoziale und psychoonkologische Aspekte finden mittlerweile im Rahmen einer ganzheitlichen Behandlung von Tumor-Patienten, welche körperliche, psychische und soziale Faktoren im Sinne des bio-psychosozialen Verständnisses gleichgewichtig einbezieht, zunehmend Beachtung.

Dieser Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die psychische Belastung sowie Verteilung von subsyndromalen und Störungsbildern bei Krebs-Patienten mit dem Schwerpunkt Progressionsangst und gibt anhand von Fallvignetten exemplarisch Einblick in häufig thematisierte Probleme im Umgang mit Angst.

Summary

During the last years, psychosocial and psycho-oncological aspects received increased attention in the framework of the bio-psycho-social model of tumor patients’ treatment. This article presents a short introducing overview about psychological distress, fear of cancer recurrence and disorders in patients treated for cancer. Using exemplary patients, typical topics of the different illnessand treatment phase will be illustrated.
