Abstract

Hemorrhoids can be classified in four stages by the Goligher classification. There is a broad spectrum of therapeutic possibilites. Basic therapy, interventional methods like sclerotherapy and rubber band ligation and the various operational options make a tailored therapeutic concept for each case possibile with very good chances of recovery.
