Der Artikel beschreibt die Methode Applied Kinesiology (AK) mit ihren Hauptwerkzeugen als funktionelle Myodiagnostik. Er gibt eine Übersicht über die postulierten Mechanismen der Wirksamkeit und einen Überblick über vorhandene Studien. Zur Illustration der Anwendung in der Praxis dienen zwei Fallbeispiele.


The article describes the method of applied kinesiology (AK) with its main tools as functional myodiagnostics. It presents an overview of the postulated mechanisms of effectiveness as well as of existing studies. Two case reports are used to illustrate the application in practice.
