Peter Klare et al. Magnetic endoscope imaging for routine colonoscopy: impact on propofol dosage and patient safety – a randomized trial

Quality:
This randomized single-center trial examined whether the assistance of magnetic endoscope imaging would affect sedation use and patient satisfaction during colonoscopy in 334 patients. Compared with the control group, magnetic imaging reduced the dosage of propofol (150mg vs. 180 mg), improved patient satisfaction, and achieved similar cecal intubation times and adenoma detection rates.
