Das Thema Immuntherapie ist nach wie vor auch klinisch das dominierend innovative Thema in der Onkologie. Beeindruckend sind hier Ergebnisse mit genetisch veränderten autologen T-Zellen bei Patienten mit refraktären B-Zell-Neoplasien. Auch im Bereich der Checkpointinhibitoren gibt es mehr und mehr Zulassungen. Diese werden gegenwärtig in frühen Studien als Monotherapie oder Kombinationstherapie mit PD1-Antikörpern untersucht. Aber auch zum metastasierten Harnblasenkarzinom, zum metastasierten Nierenkarzinom, Lungenkarzinom, Mammakarzinom und gastrointestinalen Karzinomen sowie zum Multiplen Myelom wurden beim ASCO 2016 neue Daten vorgestellt.
Immunotherapy is still clinically a dominating innovative topic in oncology. Particularly impressive in this context are the results obtained using genetically engineered, autologous T cells in patients with refractory B cell neoplasms. There are also more and more approvals in the field of checkpoint inhibitors. These are currently being tested in early studies as a monotherapy or in combination therapy with PD1 antibodies. In addition, new data on metastatic urinary bladder cancer, metastatic renal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancers as well as multiple myelomas were presented at ASCO 2016.
