Abstract Text Magnetic compression anastomosis (MCA) has been previously used for the treatment of duodenal stasis, however the effectiveness and safety remain unknown. Herein, we report successful gastrojejunostomy by means of MCA in a case of duodenal obstruction with three-year follow-up. This case demonstrates the efficacy of a novel, less invasive magnetic gastro-gastro anastomosis. With long term follow-up, this magnet-assisted approach proven to be a successful and minimally invasive endoscopic treatment for duodenal obstruction.
