Abstract Text In portal hypertension (PH), duodenal varices are ectopic vascular formation responsible for 1 to 5% of digestive variceal haemorrhages. We report the observation and video of a patient followed for a myeloproliferative syndrome responsible for a portal cavernoma with PH syndrome. Abdominal angioscanner confirmed portal cavernoma and found suspicious thickening of the duodenal region. EGD found esophageal and gastric varices and lobulated formations of the bulb, which corresponded to the suspicious mass described on angioscanner. Doppler-coupled EUS confirmed the variceal origin. In cases of hemorrhage due to ruptured duodenal varices, obturation by endoscopic cyanoacrylate appears to be the best treatment [1] [2].
