Laparoscopic/endoscocopic (LECS) cooperative resección of a big Gastric Gist
Authors
Abstract Text Hybrid, cooperative endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques are a well-established alternative to the single approach for lesions challenging for one or the other access. We present the case of a 6 cm gastric gist of the gastric body that was initially attempted to be resected by dissection without success due to poor handling.
A hybrid approach was decided by Lecs. Using a hybridknife I tipe, the lesion was dissected by endoscopy, under direct laparoscopic control, which was also used to control bleeding and manipulation of the lesion. Finally, the perforation was closed laparoscopically and the tightness of the closure was verified by endoscopy.
