Abstract Text Management of gastrobronchial leakage occurred on gastric conduit after esophagectomy is rare and challenging. Herein, we report successful closure of a challenging gastrobronchial fistula after esophagectomy by the nylon rope-assisted endoclip closure technique. This case demonstrates it is a safe technique and provides superior long-term histological healing outcomes. With 3 months follow-up, the nylon rope-assisted endoclip closure technique has proven to be an effective and easy method to close the difficult gastrobronchial fistula, without using extra and expensive devices.
