Future Prospects for the Pharmacologic Treatment of Tinnitus

ABSTRACT
In this article, the pharmacologic research related to the treatment of tinnitus is reviewed. The limitations due to methods and current knowledge base are discussed. The current understanding of the pathology of tinnitus is described and future pharmacology studies are proposed.
